Nein. Die An- und Abreise zur Location ist in beiden Hochzeitspaketen inklusive, und der Steghof liegt ohnehin in meinem Wohnort.

Wann sollten wir anfragen?

Sobald euer Termin steht. Die Samstage zwischen April und Oktober sind zuerst vergeben.

Getting married at the Steghof in Naturns

The Steghof lies on the edge of Naturns, opposite the entrance to the Schnals valley and about 15 kilometres from Merano. For me it is home turf: I live in Naturns myself, I am there in a few minutes and I photograph weddings at the Steghof regularly.

You celebrate on a farm dating back to the Middle Ages. The restored barn with its large room, threshing floor and gallery is available, along with the garden, the courtyard and the medieval parlours. That gives you very different backdrops in one place: old wood and stone inside, greenery and open sky outside.

I am with you all day, from getting ready and the ceremony to the party in the barn, with a wedding film and drone footage if you like. The images above are from weddings across South Tyrol; a dedicated gallery of Steghof weddings will follow shortly.

The Steghof: history and location

According to the owners, the farm dates back to the Middle Ages and its Gothic parlour to the 14th century. From 1992 to 2002 the Steghof was a restaurant and art gallery; the barn was restored between 2015 and 2017. Today part of the farm and the barn are rented out for celebrations, exhibitions and events.

Barn – Large room, threshing floor and gallery. From the gallery the whole party can be photographed from above.
Courtyard – The space between farmhouse and barn, good for the reception, congratulations and group photos.
Garden – Greenery as a backdrop for couple portraits without having to leave the farm.
Medieval parlours – Old wood and low light: quiet portraits and the fallback when it rains.

My tips for your wedding photos at the Steghof

Time for portraits – 20 to 30 minutes for just the two of you is enough. Garden, courtyard and parlours are side by side, so you are back with your guests quickly.
Ceremony in Naturns – Church, registry office or a free ceremony: I am there from the start and travel with you to the Steghof.
Rain – We then shoot in the barn and the parlours. Both are backdrops in their own right, not a stopgap.
